Henry Hazlitt, Economics in One Lesson, page 23 The Broken Window (fallacy). Amazed I still have this book. Libertarian economics. I was quite taken with it at one time in my early twenties. He contends war and destruction are not economically beneficial, contrary to some that war can be a boon to the economy, since broken windows need to be replaced. But I now toy with the idea that broken windows can help repair a diseased economy...but don't go and break anything.
